Early season Roe Buck Results
We have now just completed the first month of Roe Buck hunting, and have had some Great results, its amazing that in some parts of the country the velvet was off the antlers by the 2nd week of April and less than 20 miles away all the antlers where clean. Must be something in the soil that causes this to happen. We have had a mixed bag of clients, some that are looking for just some good stalking and others that are looking for that wall hanger and being able to join the club, Gold medal club. There is still Great Roe Buck stalking in England and Scotland, its just now as the corn gets higher and the leaves start filling out the trees, these deer become harder to find. But I know the guides we use will find these deer. If you have never went Roe stalking give it a go, its great fun, and a fantastic way to see the countryside wake up, especially with this amazing weather we are having.
